Willie Belle Cawthon, age 87, of Murfreesboro passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Sam White and Jennie Lou Hendrix Travis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W.G. Cawthon, and siblings, Joy Travis, Richard Aaron Travis and Sam White "Bud" Travis, Jr.

Funeral service will be 2PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers.

She is survived by sons, James (Vickie) Cawthon, Glenn Cawthon, Darrell Cawthon, Gary (Holly) Cawthon; daughters, Nannie Lou Davis, Annette Cotton, Angela Cawthon; brother, Charles Wesley "Mink" Travis; sisters, Katherine Donnell, Dorothy Clark, Mary Ann Fann, Betty Lou Landon, Edna Davis; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cawthon was a member of Kingwood Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in Nashville, TN in memory of Mrs. Cawthon.
