Sue Ellen Sneed Cole , age 83 of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Nashville, TN, passed away Thursday January 21, 2016. Born in Maury County, TN, she was the daughter of the late John Herman and Sara Eddice Meadows Sneed. Mrs. Cole was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Boyd Cole.

Mrs. Cole is survived by her daughters, Jan Bass and her husband Barry of Pulaski, TN, Emily Pegg and her husband Mark of Murfreesboro, TN; son, Steven Cole and his wife Pam of Hendersonville, TN; brothers, Joe Sneed of Nashville, TN, Billy Sneed of Fairview, TN, Larry Sneed and his wife Gladys and Bob Sneed and his wife Cris all of Murfreesboro, TN; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday January 30, 2016 at The Church of the Resurrection, 1216 Sneed Road, Franklin, TN 37069, with Father Richard Kew officiating. Burial will be in the church columbarium.

Mrs. Cole was a member of the Episcopal Church, and a retired secretary and homemaker.
