April 22, 1951 – June 17, 2017
Ronnie Allsbrooks, age 66 of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. He is the husband of Jan Hampton Allsbrooks and the son of the late James and Louise Stevens Allsbrooks.
Visitation will be 4PM-8PM Tuesday, June 20, 2017 and again from 12PM-1PM Wednesday, June 21, 2017 with the funeral service to begin at 1PM all at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Ronnie is also survived by a granddaughter that he raised, Brittany Hindman-Johnson and her husband Lorenzo, Sr.; two step-sons, Ryan Hampton of Murfreesboro, Terrell Ashworth and his wife Dixie of Christiana; two step-daughters, Tara Dowell and her husband Joe of Christiana, Marci Bishop and her husband Doug of Alexandria; a sister, Ramona Robertson and her husband Reece of the Leipers Fork Community; nine other grandchildren, Ferrin Outley, Darius Outley, Kailyn Jordan, Laura Kate Dowell, Carolyne Dowell, Dorothy Dowell, Gideon Dowell, Mahala Denny, Peyton Denny; three great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Johnson, Jr., Nyomi Johnson, and Jaxon Tubbs; two nephews, Lance Edwards and his wife Kim, Garth Edwards, one niece, Karlee Bailey and her husband Chris, and several great nephews.
A native of Nashville, he was a 1969 graduate of East Nashville High School after which he attended MTSU where he graduated in 1974. Ronnie attended Belle Aire Baptist Church. He always had a love for sports which helped him form many relationships, and gave him the opportunity to coach many kids about which he was very passionate. He retired from the State of Tennessee after 37 years of work. Ronnie was a kind hearted man that loved and cared deeply for his family. His loss will be felt by many.
