Rita Mary Moore Guerra, age 84 of Smyrna, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017. She is the daughter of the late Manuel Garcia and Herlinda Galan Molina. She was preceded in death by one child, Mary Catherine Molina Piazza, and one grandchild, Jonathan David Ketterer.

Visitation will be 10AM-12PM Saturday, January 6, 2017 with a memorial service to begin at 12PM all at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow at Mapleview Cemetery.

Mrs. Guerra is survived by her children, Ricardo John Ketterer, Mark Stephen Ketterer, Barry Ketterer, Michael Anthony Ketterer, Sr., Chrissy Anne Ketterer Hunt, Deborah Moore Bergeson, Aree Sue Moore Bartine, Cheryl Ann Moore Walker, Archie Ray Moore, Jr., Lisa Marie Moore Garrison; and 60 grand and great-grandchildren.

Rita began her editorial career in high school and then became the editor of the newspaper in Spring City where she was the church secretary at First Baptist Church. She received her double major at the age of 60 in Theology and Social Work from Liberty University. She spent many years working for Bible Pathway Ministries as editor and translator for the Spanish Ministries. She actively showed everyone the love of Jesus and served Him faithfully.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Bible Pathways Ministries in Murfreesboro.
