Rachel Harrell Douglas , age 78 of McMinnville, TN, passed away Tuesday December 31, 2019. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Lowe Harrell, Sr. and Lera Mai Layhew Harrell. Mrs. Douglas was also preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond L. Harrell, Jr., James A. Harrell, Johnny Harrell, and Harvey Lee Harrell; sisters, Betty Jean Adams and Mattie Louise Ryberg.

Mrs. Douglas is survived by her sons, Harold E. Douglas, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN, John Keith Douglas and his wife Donna Rose Douglas of Smyrna, TN, and Kelvin R. Douglas of McMinnville, TN; brother, Irvin K. Harrell of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Susie Mai Harrell of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Brandy Kennedy of Crossville, TN, Brandon Kennedy of Union City, IN, Adam and Amy Rose of Murfreesboro, TN, Taylor and Kelsie Douglas of McMinnville, TN, Jason and Blake Douglas of Murfreesboro; eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Terry Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with David, Scott, Rocky, and Michael Harrell, Blake and Jason Douglas, and Steven Wise serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Douglas a 1960 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School, a member of Christiana Church of Christ, and retired from Whirlpool.
