Mrs. Okie Marie Collett Taylor , age 94 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019. A native of Garrard, KY, she was the daughter of the late Andy and Lois Ruth Collett. Mrs. Taylor was also preceded in death by her husband, Orval Taylor who died in 1993.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her grandson, Alex Taylor of Brentwood, TN.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Dean Sisk officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor was of the Baptist faith and was a WWII riveter in Detroit, and also worked for Hudson Motor Car Company.
