Myrtle Kilian Blanton , age 97 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday November 1, 2019. She was born in Cains Store, KY, but was raised in Dickson County, TN, and later moved to Murfreesboro, TN. Mrs. Blanton was the daughter of the late Otto W. and Maggie Miller Kilian, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murfreesboro police Lieutenant Robert Lawton Blanton who died in 1977, and also preceded in death by brothers, Otto W. Kilian, Jr., James Phillip Kilian, and Donald Edward Kilian, and a sister, Virginia Ruth Kilian.

Mrs. Blanton was survived by her daughter, Beverly Ruth Blanton of Joelton, TN and Murfreesboro, TN.

A graveside service was held 1:00 PM Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Blanton was a member of the Episcopal Church and a homemaker.
