Merlyn Meyer age 88 of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday January 13, 2016. Born in Elgin, IL he was a long time resident of Loves Park, IL.He was the son of the late Herman and Luetta Meyer. He is also preceded in death by a wife; Mary Meyer, a son; Timothy Meyer, daughter; Kathleen Try, grandson; Jarod Try.

Mr. Meyer is survived by two daughters; Patricia LaFew of Illinois, Teresa Milburn of Murfreesboro, two sisters; Beatrice Cruise and Karen Seppelfrick both of Illinois, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
