Mary Helen Young Nipper , age 60 of Dowelltown, TN, passed away Sunday March 3, 2019. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Pearlie Mai Roberson Young. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Nipper, Sr., brothers, Wayne, Willie Floyd, and Walter Emmett Young, sister, Elise Maxine Ashley, sister-in-law, Evelyn Marie Young, and a nephew, Robbie David Young.

Mrs. Nipper is survived by her daughter, Christie Hall (Michael Yancey) of Dowelltown, TN; sons, Jason Todd Wrather and his wife Kathy of Lascassas, TN and Steven Dewayne Hall of Cookeville, TN; brothers, Bobby Ray Young of the Leanna community and Roger Dale Young of Schenectady, NY; sisters, Juanita Mathis of Sparta, TN, Linda Gail Davis of Smithgrove, KY, Wanda Hall Hopkins of Portland, TN, and Janice Adams of Lascassas, TN; grandchildren, Lucas Yancey, Devon Maxwell, Emma Jo Williams-Wrather, and Joseph Charles Edgar William-Wrather; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chris Rhimes officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Nipper was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and a homemaker.
