Mary Alletha Leonard Barrett, age 91, went to be with The Lord Sunday, March 12, 2017. She is the wife of the late Robert David Barrett and the daughter of the late John Melvin and Lula Bean Leonard.

Born in Macon Co., TN, Mary was a loving wife and homemaker. She doted on her three boys and loved unconditionally. She loved collecting rocks and yard sales. Most importantly she loved the Lord and was a Christian. She was a member at Halls Valley Church of Christ in Walker Co., GA.

Mrs. Barrett is survived by three sons, Leonard "Dale" Barrett and his wife Sherry of Trion, GA, Calvin Phillip Barrett and his wife Julie of Lake Park, GA, Albert Eric Barrett of Trion, GA; one brother, John Leonard and his wife Dot of Ridgetop, TN; and two sisters, Grace Baird of Woodbury and Rebecca Leonard of Murfreesboro, three grandchildren, Rob, Julianna, and Phillip Barrett Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews

Visitation will be 11AM-1PM Saturday, March 18, 2017 with the service to begin at 1PM all at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother James Huskey will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Kendall, Ray, James and Charles Leonard; three sisters, Dorothy Leonard Parker, Elise Leonard Haynes, and her twin sister Louise Leonard.
