Margaret Kerr Caffy, age 92, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, TN passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016. She is the wife of the late Russell Bryan Caffy and the daughter of the late James Taylor Kerr and Mary A. Davis.

Funeral service will be at 10 AM Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Brother Tim Lavender officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Caffy and her husband made their home in many different places including Illinois and Montana because of his job with Stauffer Chemical Company while she worked as a homemaker. She loved music, sewing, gardening and cooking all while working very hard raising six children.

Mrs. Caffy is survived by two daughters, Karen Vest and her husband Rusty of Columbia, TN and Kathy Fahner and her husband John of Pleasant Shade, TN; four sons, Russell Caffy of Tupelo, MS, Stanley Caffy and his wife Linda of Nasvhille, TN, Jimmy Caffy and his wife Lois of Murfreesboro, TN, Kenny Caffy of Smyrna, TN; a brother, Jimmy Kerr of Murfreesboro; a sister, Elizabeth Kerr of Florida; eight grandchildren, Brandon Caffy, Alexander, Rachel, and Margaret Vest, Matthew and John Fahner, Samantha Galina, and Mallory Zimmerman; and six great-grandchildren, Margaret Berry Kennedy, Samuel Delk Kennedy, Olivia and Mitchel Galina, and Myla and Zoey Zimmerman.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Nina Jackson.

Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed.
