Linda Lancon DeSoto , age 68, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018.She was native of New Iberia, LA. Mrs. DeSoto was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Moncla Lancon, and a sister, Diana Gaye O'Brien.

Mrs. DeSoto is survived by her husband, Sonny Ray DeSoto; daughter, Elizabeth Lanphier Smith and her husband Dan of Murfreesboro, TN; father, Ovide Lancon, Jr. of New Iberia, LA; grandchildren, Clayton and Isaac Smith both of Murfreesboro, TN; twin brother, Lynn (Katie) Lancon of New Iberia, LA; sisters, Connie (Don) Carter of New Iberia, LA and Mona (Bill) Moss of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Teb Batey officiating. Burial will follow in the Milton Cemetery with friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. DeSoto was a member of Milton Church of Christ and was a retired manager with AT&T after 39 ½ years of service.
