James Larry Lee, age 72 of Smyrna, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017. He is the son of the late Emmett and Jewell Harris Lee.

Visitation will be 4PM to 7PM Sunday, April 16, 2017. Funeral service for Mr. Lee will be 10AM Monday, April 17, 2017 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with the burial to follow at Mapleview Cemetery. Rev. Rob Dunbar, Rev. Barry Culbertson, and Kenneth Victory will officiate.

Mr. Lee is survived by a brother, Cecil Lee of Smyrna; a sister, Emily Lee O'Sullivan of Atlanta; three nephews and one niece.

Mr. Lee was a 1962 graduate of Smyrna High School. He owned and operated Lee's Automotive in Smyrna and was a member of Kedron United Methodist Church. He also was an active member of the Smyrna Volunteer Fire Department and a proud member of the NHRA

The family has requested that memorials be made to Kedron United Methodist Church, 5098 Rocky Fork Rd., Smyrna, TN, 37167, or to the charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Lee.
