Katherine Lorell Harper, age 79 of La Vergne, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017. She is the wife of James Harper and the daughter of the late Mitchel and Carrie Goodwin Boner.

Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of cremation.

She is also survived by a son, Lee Harper of La Vergne; three grandchildren, Sasha Carter and her husband Steve of Smyrna, Milton Foster of North Carolina, and Joshua Harper of Columbia; five great-grandchildren, Trenton and Alaina Harper, Mia, Blaine and Cade Carter; and one sister, Linda Watkins of Murfreesboro.

Katherine was preceded in death by two sons, Mark and James Mitchel Harper, and one grandson, Christopher Paul.
