Obituary

Juanita Clark Irwin, age 93, of Murfreesboro died January 1, 2017. Mrs. Irwin was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Irwin who died in 2013 and a daughter, Kay Smith. She was the daughter of the late Eldridge F. and Mary Kathleen Jakes Clark.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Reverend Loyd Mabry will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Garden. Visitaiton will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Family and friends will servce as pallbearers.

Mrs. Irwin is survived by two sons, Bobby Irwin and his wife Ernestine and Kent Irwin and his wife Brenda all of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Ruth Klock and her husband Randy of Las Vegas, NV; and seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

Mrs. Irwin was a member of Smyrna First United Methodist Church. She and her husband were charter members of the Stones River Chapter Antique Car Club of America. She was a 1940 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School, a lifetime member of the Tennessee Federation of Garden Clubs Incorporated and a member of the University of Tennessee Benefactor Society.
