John Paul Oeser age 85 of Murfreesboro passed on Friday, March 11, 2016. He was a native of Nashville and was the son of the late Ernest And Ruth Anne Oeser. Mr. Oeser was a member of Parkers Creek Baptist Church in Dickson and was a Decorated Veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Oeser is survived by his wife, Julia Christine Oeser; three daughters and their husbands, Lita (Robert) Morris, Trina Trotter, and Vickie (Roger) Montoya; one son and his wife, David (Stacy) Oeser; three brothers and their wives, Orville (Glenda) Oeser, Ronnie (Brenda) Oeser, and Herbert (Rita) Oeser; and four grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Megan, and Christopher.

Funeral service will be 2:00PM Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Visitation will be 3:00PM to 7:00PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Interment will be at 10:00AM Tuesday at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
