John Martin Clark, age 81 of Smyrna, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017. He was the husband of the late Sarah Brown Clark and the son of the late John and Orpha Myatt Clark.

Funeral service will be 11AM, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Brother Terry Davendport, Gerald Lee, Bill Lee will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Jones, Gerald and Bill Lee, Terry Davenport, Doris and Gordon Naron, and the Kitron Church Breakfast Group.

Mr. Clark is survived by two sons, John R. Clark and his wife Susan of Murfreesboro, Eddie Clark and his wife Karen of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Wanda Swader of Smyrna; two brothers, Lester Clark and his wife Ann of Christiana, Herman Clark and his wife Wilda of Rockvale; two sisters, Bonnie Arnette of Murfreesboro and Jewell Victory of Smyrna; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and also extended family in Bon Agua, TN and Dickson, TN.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Imogene Waldron.

A native of Rutherford County, Mr. Clark spent 43 years in the printing industry before retiring.

Visitation for Mr. Clark will be 4PM-8PM Monday, April 17, 2017 and starting at 9AM Tuesday until the time of service at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
