John Beaty, Jr. , age 97 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Saturday May 12, 2018. A native of Warren County, TN, he was the son of the late John Beaty, Sr. and Paralee Ledbetter Beaty. Mr. Beaty was also preceded in death by his wife, Sara Louise Grimes Beaty, a daughter, Cathy Whittle, four brothers, and three sisters.

Mr. Beaty is survived by a son, Larry Beaty and his wife Annie of Miami Beach, FL; daughter, Connie Reasonover of Smyrna, TN; eight grandchildren, Michael Reasonover, Alicia (Todd) Mangrum, Damon (Krystal) Reasonover, Rachel (Dustin) Graves, Brad (Ashley) Beaty, Amy (Jacob) Miles, Meredith (Jamey) Greene, and Matthew Whittle; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, with Pastor Jeff DeWees officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Beaty was a US Army veteran, a member of the Church of Christ, and a retired District Route Manager from the Nashville Tennessean.
