Jimmy Labran Hartley, age 71 of Readyville, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017. He is the husband of the late Brenda Joyce Hartley and the son of the late Ewing and Francis Vaughn Hartley.

There will be a memorial service for Mr. Hartley at 3:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2017 at Deer Point Baptist Church, 1020 Thompson Rd., Unionville, TN with a two hour visitation prior to that. Ronnie Leathers will officiate.

He is survived by three sons, Kenneth Hartley and his wife Lynn of Readyville, Tim Hartley and his wife Sondra of Walterhill, and Mike Hartley and his wife Michelle of Walterhill; a brother, Johnny Hartley and his wife Francis of Franklin; three sisters, Lucy Shed of Mt. Juliet, Eva Leathers and her husband Ronnie of Rockvale, and Janie Maniere of Lewisburg; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

The family has requested that donations be made to Woodfin Memorial Chapel to help with Mr. Hartley's funeral expenses.
