Janice Karol West , age 60 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday December 8, 2019. A native of Shelbyville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Harlan and Clarice Reid Nelson.

Karol is survived by her husband Roger West; daughter, Claire Lewis of Los Angeles, CA; sister, Karen Adcock and her husband Bill of Murfreesboro, TN; nieces, Rachel Davis of Shelbyville, TN, Callie Barrett of Murfreesboro, TN, Kristin Davis of Wartrace, TN, and Megan Pemberton of Murfreesboro, TN; nephew, Nelson Adcock of Murfreesboro, TN; and her Toy Poodle companion, Mary Jane Cupcake.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Hospice Chaplain Holly Mueller officiating.

Karol was a private practice RN and also an RN Case Manager with St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to PAWS in memory of Karol.
