James Lewis Barrett age 81 passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016. He is the son of the late Willie and Azilee Barrett. Mr. Barrett served and retired from the Navy and also from Perfect Equipment

Funeral service will be Saturday, May 14, 2016, 12:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Jim Paschall officiating. visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens

Mr. Barrett is survived by his devoted companion, Sara Barrett; two daughters, Jamie Harvey and Angel Barrett Johnson; one step-son, Tracy Hatchel and his wife Karen; one step-daughter, Jerrie Darlene Scott; three sisters, Mary Pitts, Shirley Graham, and Martha Butner and her husband Kenneth; two brothers, Kenneth Barrett and his wife Frances, and Fred Barrett and his wife Claudette; and seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
