James A. Hill , age 73 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Tuesday March 13, 2018. A native of Williamsport, PA, he was the son of the late Chester Lee and Margaret Coleman Hill. Mr. Hill was also preceded in death by a brother, Coleman Hill.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Wanda Carney Hill; daughters, Stacey Sharrock and Carol Tomlinson and her husband Jeff all of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Amanda, Casey, Cody, Hannah, and James; great-grandchildren, Casin, Coralie, Peyton, and Cayden; niece and nephews, Kathy, Dan, and David.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with Rev. Michael W. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with military honors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the McDonald's Coffee Club.

Mr. Hill was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and retired from BellSouth. He was a US Air Force veteran.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Hill.
