Jackie Newsome Smith, age 74 of Smyrna, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016. She is the daughter of Louise Thomas Newsome and the late Lonnie Newsome.

Funeral service for Jackie will be Friday, December 23, 2016 at 1PM at Fellowship United Methodist Church with Pastor Barry Colbertson to officiate. Visitation will be from 10AM until the time of service at 1PM.

Ms. Smith is also survived by two sons, Craig Smith and his wife Cathy of Christiana, Jeff Smith and his wife Ginny of Smyrna; a daughter, Mandy Heasley and her husband Chris of Murfreesboro; a sister, Jimmie Eubanks and her husband Anthony of Cedar Grove, TN; a brother, John Newsome and his wife Linda of McLemoresville, TN; seven grandchildren, Megan Smith Alexander, Shaye Smith McGuire, Sydney and Carlie Smith, Brendan, Evan and Presley Heasley; seven great-grandchildren, Aidan, Jaxon and Paxton Johnson, Abbey Wren and William Alexander, Murphy McGuire, Emelia Carrigan; her beloved niece, Cindy Pearcy; and her great nephew, Chad James.
