Jack Ben Tuter, Sr. age 82 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019. A native of Okmulgee, OK, he was the son of the late Herbert and Leta Ring Tuter. He was also preceded in death by a son, Greg Tuter and a son-in-law, Sam Youree, and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Tuter is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jamie Healey Tuter; son, Jack Ben Tuter, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughter, Catherine Lynn Tuter Youree of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Jamie Switzer and her husband Tony, Jessica Jenkins and her husband Ronnie, Sam Youree, Kelly Pendergrast and her husband Scottie, and Katy Goad and her husband Malachi; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with a 2:00 PM graveside service to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Tuter was retired from Lion Apparel in Kentucky, and also retired from White Stag in Murfreesboro with over 25 years of service. Mr. Tuter was an avid OU Sooner football fan, but most of all he loved his grandchildren and dogs.
