Gwendolyn Jean McNeese, age 80 of Smyrna, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017. She is the daughter of the late William Day and Rachel Broadfoot Welch.

Ms. McNeese was born in Amarillo, TX. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and the former Secretary at Tullahoma Utilities

Visitation will be from 3PM – 7PM Sunday, January 22, 2017. Funeral service will be at 11AM Monday, January 23, 2017 with Brother Jim Toole and Brother Chris Brewer to officiate all at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Graveside services will be at 2PM following the service at New Reddens Cemetery in Coffee County. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Ms. McNeese is survived by her daughter, Nina Wildes and her husband Hartley of Smyrna; a sister, Margaret Janet Beasley and her husband Tarry of Germantown; a brother, William Day Welch, Jr. of Clearwater, FL; and two grandchildren, Stacy Leagh Wildes of Talledega, AL, and Cassidy Mussleman of Murfreesboro.

Ms. McNeese was also preceded in death by a son, David McNeese, Jr.
