Clara "Ann" Minzey, age 82 of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017. She was the wife of the late Donald Laverne and the daughter of the late Elmer Anthony and Ruth Mae Heffelmire.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 3PM – 7PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 2PM Monday, May 8, 2017 at Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan, Indiana. Burial will follow at Boxly Cemetery.

Mrs. Minzey is survived by one daughter, Patricia Dineen Minzey Hedden and her husband Daniel John Hedden of Smyrna; four grandchildren, Kathrin Alice Zupancic of Idaho, Jacqueline Monique Hedden of Murfreesboro, Jennifer Nicole Hedden of Smyrna, and Christopher Daniel Hedden of Smyrna; and four great grandchildren, Dallas Zachary Hedden of Murfreesboro, Alexis Charlotte-Hope Escobedo of Murfreesboro, Logan James and Lucius "Luke" David Zupancic of Idaho; sister-in-laws, Sharon Sue and Carolyn Heffelmire of Indiana; and a grandson-in-law, Alberto Escobedo Lopez of Murfreesboro.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, James Frank, George Edward, Clifford Dale, and Robert Lester Heffelmire.
