Billy Ray Hicks , age 51 of Smyrna died Sunday April 21, 2019. He was born in Fort Bragg NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hicks, Sr. and Lucy Louise Connell Hicks, a brother, Robert Alvis Hicks.

Mr. Hicks had worked as a Forklift Driver.

He is survived by his, Daughter; Nina Whitley and Randall of Smyrna; grandson; Reece Whitley, brother; Charles "Bud" Hicks, Jr and wife Carolyn of Texas; sisters; Nancy Ray of McMinnville, Linda Congleton and husband Brian of Smyrna; nephews, Timmy and Ayde Ray of McMinnville, Ian Anderson of Smyrna, Brian and Dee Woodard of Texas, Scott and Leah Woodard of Texas; several great nieces and nephews.
