Bill Green, age 85 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019.  He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ginger Ann Green; brother Jay Green and parents Andrew and Dorothy Green.

Mr. Green is survived by his wife Betty Smyth Green; Children Annette Allen and Bill Green, Jr.; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Mr. Green, a highly decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, retired from the U. S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel. Following his years in the Army, he became a very successful stock trader. Throughout his life he was a skilled craftsman in wood and ceramics and left treasured pieces to remember him.

He put God first, family second and all else third. He was an exceptional father and husband.

Memorial service will be Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service.
