Beverly Gail Akins Skeeters , age 70 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Saturday February 9, 2019. A native of Paducah, KY, she was the daughter of Helen Ruth Crittion Akins of LaVergne, TN and the late Jack D. Akins. Mrs. Skeeters was also preceded in death by a brother, Tony D. "Butch" Akins.

Mrs. Skeeters is survived by her husband of 31 years, James David Skeeters; daughter, Michelle Tipton and her husband Monty of LaVergne, TN; son, Billy Harvey of Murfreesboro, TN; mother, Helen Ruth Crittion Akins of LaVergne, TN; sister, Sharon Gilbert of LaVergne, TN; grandsons, Zack, Kaiss, Ramie Mrayan; and great-grandson, Sloan Mrayan.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with Pastor William R. Skeeters officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Skeeters was a member of the Baptist church and a homemaker.
