Betty Tate Owens, age 84 of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017. She is the daughter of the late Arthur "Poco" and Mini Bell Geasley Tate.

Ms. Owens is survived by one daughter, Mishael Rowland and her husband Dennis of Smyrna; two sons, Jimmy Owens of Murfreesboro, and Rusty Owens and his wife Lea Ann of Bellevue; one brother, Raymond Tate and his wife Judy of FL; two sisters, Peggy Bagsby and her husband Eugene of Donaldson, TN, and Alma Tate; four grandchildren, Kathy, Lillie, and Reed Owens, and Dusty Rowland; and two great-grandchildren, Sasha and Pammy Owens.
