Barry Lynn Flowers, age 56 of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. He was the son of Nellie Fry Flowers and the late Bernard Lynn Flowers.

Visitation will be from 3PM-6PM Sunday, July 30, 2017 with Celebration of Life at 6PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN. On Monday, July 31, 2017, at Missionary Grove Baptist Church in Camden, TN, visitation will be from 12PM-1PM with service following at 1PM.

Barry is survived by his son, Brandon Lynn Flowers of Dickson; his sister, Janet Flowers of Camden; his granddaughter, Aubrey Flowers of Hermitage; and his grandson, Brantley Flowers of Murfreesboro.

Barry was a member of New Vision Baptist Church. He was a devoted Real Estate Professional serving thousands of clients and colleagues throughout his distinguished career. In recent years, Barry became an avid Appalachian Trail hiker and camper, kayaker, and Jeep enthusiast. His favorite role in life was being "Papa Bear" to his beloved grandchildren. His ultimate calling in life was serving and blessing others.
