Barbara Ann Ross, age 70 of Smithville, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017. She was the wife of the late Joe Ross, and the daughter of the late Vernon and Ruth Ann Wright.

Visitation for Mrs. Ross will be 3PM-5PM, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 with a memorial service to begin at 5PM all at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro.

Mrs. Ross is survived by three sons, Andy Ross, Bryan Ross and his wife Stephanie all of Murfreesboro, Jerry Carpenter and his wife Terri of Smithville; one daughter, Heather Johnson of Murfreesboro; a brother, Vernon Wright and his wife Shirleen of Cincinnati; a sister, Gretchen Sherwin and her husband Ralph of California; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
