Delphia Salmons 88 of Murfreesboro, TN died Wednesday August 31, 2011. A native of Johnson County, AR, she was the daughter of the late Ellis Hurn and Dessie Day Hurn Dobbs. Ms. Salmons is survived by her son, Sid Salmons and his wife Mary Sue of Smyrna, TN; daughter Susan Cooper and her husband Michael of Milton, TN; two grandchildren; Holly Salmons of Nashville, TN and Scott Salmons and his wife Erica of Murfreesboro, TN; one great granddaughter, Celeste Salmons Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Bob Bush and Rev. Dan Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Ms. Salmons was a member of First United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
