Henry C. Snyder "Jr." age 72, of Lascassas, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Born in Wilson County, Mr. Snyder's roots were planted in Rutherford County. He was the son of the late Carlyle and Belle Alsup Snyder. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Snyder Morris and Nancy Snyder Wilson; and brothers-in-law, Morris Young, Phillip Wilson, and Ben Wilson.

Funeral Services will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Tony Hutson and Brother Dwight Smitty will officiate. A graveside service will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.

Mr. Snyder is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Audrey Davenport Snyder; son, Jeff Snyder and his wife Sabrina of Lebanon, TN; daughter, Tabby Coldwell and her husband Wayne of Walter Hill, TN; grandchildren, Justin and Jordan Snyder and his wife Tori , and Ann, Perry and Jerry Coldwell; great-grandchild, Tatum Snyder and one on the way; sisters, Carlene McCullough and her husband Stanley, Naomi Snyder, Beverly Young and Emily Wilson along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Snyder was a member of Middle Tennessee Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Walter Hill High School and was employed for many years as head of the Maintenance Department with the City of Smyrna, and also later worked Maintenance with the State of Tennessee, most notably at the Smyrna Air Base. Mr. Snyder loved breaking and riding horses, camping and fishing. He was also an avid fan of the Lady Vols and the Atlanta Braves. He will be greatly missed and always remembered by his loving family and friends.

Jeff Snyder, Wayne Coldwell, Justin Snyder, Jordan Snyder, Perry Coldwell and Jerry Coldwell will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Mr. Snyder can be made to the Old Paths Baptist Camp at Middle Tennessee Baptist Church at 706 Richard Rd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.

Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
