ZELMA LEE DAVENPORT DAVIS, age 79, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, July 17th at St. Thomas Hospital. Mrs. Davis was a native of College Grove and was the daughter of the late Jim A. and Dovie Mae Morris Davenport. Funeral Services will be at 11AM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Russell Caughron and Jim Davenport will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Davis is survived by two sons, Robert Earl (Donna) Davis of Rockvale and Bedford Eugene (Reanita) Davis of Jacksonville, FL.; two daughters, Sandra (Steve) Jackson of Hendersonville and Robbie Rene (Terry) Walters of Jackson, TN.; one sister, Flora Mae Lamb of Murfreesboro; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband Earl G. Davis who died in 1996, three brothers, Joe, Roy and James Davenport and two sisters, Anna Belle Jacobs and Nancy Wrather. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired Dietician. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4PM until 8PM Tuesday at WOODFIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL. 893-5151
