Yewell B. Reese age 89 of  Murfreesboro, died Tuesday at Creekside Assisted Living. He was born in Parma, Missouri, a son of the late Walter and Ruby Harper Reese. He was also preceded in death by his wife Elfrieda Reese, a brother, Jewell Reese, and a sister, Norma Dean "Deanie" Guess.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Reese of LaVergne; a daughter, Sandra Brunelle and husband Bill of Murfreesboro; a brother, Jerry Reese of Murfreesboro; sisters, Mildred Haile, Shirley Caldwell, and Nondis Jordan all of Missouri; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Alex, and Steven Neusse; and two great grandchildren, Sara and Ethan Neusse.

Mr. Reese was a member of Miracle Baptist Church and retired from the United States Air Force.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Miracle Baptist Church in LaVergne. Bros. Todd Kirkland and Carl Scarlett will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
