Winona Brooks Smith, age 89 of McMinnville formerly of La Vergne died Saturday January 1, 2022. She was a native of Athens AL and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Smith; daughters, Gwen Daconto, and Vonda Holland; parents, Jim and Inez McNeese Brooks.

Mrs. Smith was a member of Jesus Only Tabernacle in Nashville and a retired LPN for Tennessee Preparatory School in Nashville.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Smith and wife Tammy, J.B. Smith and wife Sherri; daughter, Annette Martin and husband Jesse; 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday 4:00PM to 8:00PM and Wednesday 12Noon until funeral service at 2:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rick Clouse and Doug Baggett will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. www.woodfinchapel.com
