Wilma Lee Thompson, age 81 of Murfreesboro, died at Northside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was a native of Lenoir City, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Carl and Reba Oody. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Thompson in 1994. She is survived by a host of loving friends, neighbors, and church members.

Mrs. Thompson was a longtime member of Belle Aire Baptist Church, Murfreesboro and retired from Life Insurance Company of Georgia.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
