Wilma R. "Bobbie" Crook, age 80, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 21, 2016. A native of Kingsport, TN she was the daughter of the late John George and Margie Elizabeth Monk Curran. She was also preceded in death by her children, Pammie Crook, Michael Steven Crook, and Joy Lynne Arnold.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Rev. Ed Boles will officiate. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.

Mrs. Crook is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jim Crook; grandchildren,  Jeremy Hammer and his wife, Catherine, Crystal Denton and her husband David, and Kim Jenkins and her husband Steve; sister, Shelby Jean Moore; brothers, John George Curran Jr. and his wife Sarah Sue, Sam Bruce Monk and his wife Peggy and Roger Harold Monk; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Crook was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzels, playing cards, bingo and rook, but her favorite pastime was spoiling her children, grandchildren and their friends. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
