Wilma J. Lewis, age 82, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2017. A native of LaVergne, TN, she was preceded in death by her parents, Buford Boyd and Priscilla Bell Thomas Johnson; and brother, Alford Johnson.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Brother Tony Holt will officiate. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her children, Judy Buckley and her husband Jerry of Brentwood, TN and Eddy Tune and his wife Tina of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Christopher Buckley and his wife Natalie, Kevin Buckley and his wife JoEllen, and April Tune; great-grandchildren, Harper Buckley and Collins Buckley; along with much loving extended family.

Mrs. Lewis was a charter member of Highland Heights Church of Christ and was also a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ. She served as church secretary for many years at Highland, volunteered  in the Red Cross Blood Drive, the Hospital Auxiliary, and the Home Demonstration Club. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Lewis can be made to a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro.
