Wilma Estes Adcock, age 95, of Murfreesboro, TN. died Friday, December 31st, 2010 at Boulevard Terrace. A native of Rutherford County she was the daughter of the late Dr. Sam E. and Sarah Ava Bennett Estes. She is also preceded in death by her husband Charles Estil Adcock who died in 1962, two sisters, Lillian and Alma Estes, and six brothers, John, Andrew, Jesse, Glenn, Hoyt, and Claude Estes. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Jeff Adcock will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Adcock is survived by three daughters and a son in law, Joan and Robert Waldron of Smyrna, TN., Peggy Hogan of Columbia, S.C. and Ava Joy Russell of Murfreesboro, TN.; seven grandchildren, Kandi Cash, Sarah McClard, Kenneth McCrary, Bobby Waldron, Charles Williams, Shane McCrary and Jason Waldron, twenty great grandchildren; two sister in laws, Estelle Johnson Delbridge and Dorothy Marlin; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Adcock was a member of Powells Chapel Baptist Church. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 893-5151.
