WILLIE E. RYE, age 81, of LaVergne died August 28, 2012. She was a native of Walton County, GA, and daughter of the late Clarence and Hilda Mae Brown Casper. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:30 AM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Rye is survived by sons, Ralph James Glass, Marvin L. Glass, and David Glass; daughters, Kathy Short and Tammy Mencer; step-son, Robert Carey Rye; brother, Lamar Casper; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Mrs. Rye was married to the late Robert Franklin Rye. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
