Willie Dee Haynes, Jr., age 79, of Murfreesboro passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Willie Dee Haynes, Sr. and Edith Overcast Haynes.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Gavin Coriell will officiate. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wilma Fann Haynes, daughters, Maria Dawn Haynes of Murfreesboro, Crystal Haynes Curtis of Washington, Holly Haynes Johnson and her husband David of Murfreesboro, sisters, Ann Haynes Hodge and her husband Norman of Louisville, KY, Lana Gay Haynes Harris and her husband Terry of Murfreesboro, granddaughters, Chelsea Brook Curtis of Nashville, Camden Melina Johnson and her fiancée Jeremy Espinoza of Murfreesboro and Spenser Haynes Johnson of Murfreesboro.

Mr. Haynes served in the United States Marine Reserves and was a retired Plumber and Electrician.
