Obituary

WIILIAM R. WOLFE,75, retired Professor of English at Middle Tennessee State University, died on Wednesday, January 6th, at his home at 1710 Diana Street. Professor Wolfe was the son of the late Roland Corrington and Mary Agnes McConnell Wolfe and is survived by his younger brother, Donald Thomas Wolfe of Murfreesboro. He was predeceased by two older brothers, Roland C. Wolfe, Jr., of Nashville and John McConnell Wolfe of Chattanooga. Professor Wolfe attended the Overbrook School and Father Ryan High School in Nashville. He attended Vanderbilt University, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, and held degrees from Saint Ambrose College, Marquette University, and the University of Virginia. He was a veteran of the Untied States Army. There will be no funeral or public burial. In lieu of flowers, consider contributing to your favorite charity. Visitation will be at the home of Michael and Sara Dunne, 801 East Lytle Street, in Murfreesboro, Sunday, January 10th, from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M.
