William Jack White , age 89 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Wednesday March 29, 2017. A native of McKenzie, TN, he was the son of the late John Washington, and Ida Teeple White. Mr. White was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Prince White who died in 2005, and by his brothers, John and Jim White.

Mr. White is survived by his children, William Brent White and his wife Jennifer of Murfreesboro, TN, Beth Ann White Huisman and her husband Mark of Murfreesboro, TN, and Paul B. White and his wife Patricia of Waverly, TN; grandchildren, Scott White of Ohio and Amanda Engelman of Murfreesboro, TN; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Stones River Baptist Church with Pastor Dan G. Dale officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM until the 2:00 PM service at Stones River Baptist Church, 361 Sam Ridley Pkwy. East Smyrna, TN 37167.

Mr. White was a WW II and Korean US Navy veteran a member of Stones River Baptist Church, and a retired Boiler Inspector. Mr. White was also a member of the Scottish Rite and was a 32nd Degree Master Mason.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stones River Baptist Church in memory of Mr. White.
