Mr. William Dowl Vinson, age 81, of Smyrna, TN passed away peacefully at his home Friday, January 21, 2022. He was born in Jackson County, TN to the late Sid Luther and Gossie Mae Crabtree Vinson. Mr. Vinson retired as a supervisor with Lochinvar. He was a faithful member of Highland Heights Church of Christ. Mr. Vinson enjoyed fishing for whatever would bite and deer hunting.

Mr. Vinson is survived by his daughters, Connie Adkins and her husband Marc and Cathy Hewitt all of Smyrna; grandchildren, Jessica Frey and her husband Nate of Mt. Juliet, TN, Amber Loudon and her husband Jason of Thompson's Station, TN,  Adam Adkins and Lisa Rasmussen of Murfreesboro, TN, and Joshua Johnson of Smyrna, TN; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Leighton, Hudson, Hartley, Paxton, Lennox, Noah, and Ledger; and siblings, Luther Vinson and his wife Pat of Murfreesboro, TN and Irene Denton of Gallatin, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Jones Vinson and several siblings.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, January 24, 2022 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 12:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Graveside services will be kept private.
