William Arvil Sullivan , age 80 of Antioch, TN, passed away Tuesday April 26, 2016. A native of Franklin, TN, he was the son of the late Charles Houston, and Cora D. Warf Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Sullivan who died in 2012, and a brother, James Alton Sullivan.

Mr. Sullivan is survived by a son, David Wayne Sullivan of Antioch, TN; daughter, Diane Bryson of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Christina Newman of Antioch, TN, and Gary "A.J" Meadows of Antioch, TN; great-grandchildren, Destin Waldron of Smyrna, TN, Madison and Payton Whitney both of Antioch, TN, Chad Meadows of North Carolina, and Serenity Meadows of Antioch, TN; brother, Billy Joe Sullivan of Antioch, TN; nephews, Daniel Sullivan of Nolensville, TN, and Ronald Sullivan of Antioch, TN; nieces, Teresa Thompson of Antioch, TN, and Joan Anderson of Nolensville, TN.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with Pastor Jacobi Campbell officiating. Graveside service with military honors will be 1:00 PM Monday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN.

Mr. Sullivan was a member of Bell Road Church of the Nazarene, and was retired from the Tennessee Army National Guard.
