William Kenneth Robinson, age 85 of Murfreesboro passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late William Thomas and Minnie Bell James Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his son, William Timothy Robinson and sisters, Grace Richardson and Pauline Taylor. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Sunday at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Dr. Rebecca Salisbury, Revs. Chris and Joy Warren will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers. He is survived by his wife, Billie Jean Bradford Robinson, sons, Mike Robinson and his wife Jenny, Randy Robinson, daughter, Sandy Wallman and her husband Tom, daughter-in-law, Sherrie Robinson, all of Murfreesboro, brother, Jack Robinson of Morton, IL, grandchildren, Brad Robinson, Cody Robinson, Neil Robinson, Jake Wallman, Josh Wallman, Brandon Robinson, Lindsay Trapp, great grandchildren, Faith Rush, Wesley Johnson, Cody Jackson, Fernando and Giovanni Bland and a multitude of nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Mr. Robinson was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a 1948 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School. He was a US Air Force veteran and an engineer with AEDC until his retirement. He became a licensed pilot at age 69 and also received his Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
