William "Eugene" Pinkston, age 78, of Unionville, TN, passed away from this Earth and into his heavenly home on Friday, April 19, 2024.

He was the son of the late Josh Clayton "Jack" and Mary T. Pinkston. He was also preceded in death by his sons, Dennis Pinkston and Roberto Pena.

Eugene married Peggy Frost Pinkston on April 7, 1966. He served in the United States Air Force for three years. He is also survived by his children, Keith and Mandy Pinkston, Anita Pinkston, Gladys Pena, Walter and Michele Hammond, Jim Pinkston, and Daniel Pinkston. He was a super proud Poppy to Tyler, Maegan, Emma and Ellie Stubblefield, Tyler, Jessica, Lexi, Jase, and Eli Burns, Jacob, Brittany, Will, and Addy Badger, Jeffrey, Breanna, and Paxton Evans, Derek and Emily Cassese, Hailey and Nick Moore, Alli Pinkston, Mary Beth Pinkston, Nevin Shaffer, Isabella Pinkston, Samuel Hammond, Anna Hammond, Simon Pena, and Valeria Pena.

He was a jack of all trades. He was always ready to help family members and friends with whatever was needed. He was a blessing and a role model of loving God and others.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
