William Carlton Parsley, Jr. , age 79 of Readyville, TN, passed away Wednesday June 21, 2017. A native of Olney, MD, he was the son of the late William Carlton Parsley, Sr. and Mildred Rebecca Thompson Parsley. Mr. Parsley was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Firey.

Mr. Parsley is survived by his wife, Michele Draper Parsley; sons, William Carlton Parsley, III , and his wife Misty of Pegram, TN, Townes Andrew Parsley, and his wife Lisa of Murfreesboro, TN, and Grant Kennedy Parsley, and his wife Mary of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Veronica Renee Bosnak, and her husband Joseph of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Stuart Parsley of Ashburn, VA; sister, Gail Aleshire of Mercersburg, PA; and ten grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with Deacon Pete Semich officiating. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM service.

Mr. Parsley was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and was a retired Systems Analyst with AEDC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Murfreesboro Cold Patrol, or the Blue Raider Athletic Association in memory of Mr. Parsley.
